Terrible Treasures!

The last couple of days have been spent with my
WONDERFUL niece, seeking out fantastic finds. I was so happy to aquire this Kitchen witch as well as some paper plates and napkins for the kid's party and a cool sign holder! All found at a yard sale and discount antique shop (going out of business). I made the sign!

Gothic Window Dressings

I finished these today and I know it's too early but I'm soooo excited to decorate this year! I just had to put them up. I drew the pattern freehand from Martha's template. I decided to use patterned wallpaper; paint it with black, semi-gloss interior paint, using a sponge brush. I wiped some of the paint gently off the surface using the same brush to give it a slightly lighter look. The semi-gloss gives them a leather/vinyl look.

Witches on Parade!

HallOOOO! Just wanting to share the 'wee boo thud' invitations my co-planner and I have made for the small Halloween party we are putting together for the kids this year. Isn't it great Halloween is on a Saturday? We got the Idea and downloaded the template from Papercrafts Magazine. Thanks Papercrafts! The interior reads-Calling all ghosts and goblins, too! There's friendly witches waiting for you, with fun and treats and games to play. Come celebrate with them this Halloween Day! There are three of us dressing up as witches to host the party!

Pinata to follow...(hee, hee, cackle, hee!)
